Dubai Fashion Week (DFW) will return to Dubai Design District (d3) from 1–6 February 2026. The upcoming Autumn/Winter 2026/27 edition marks an expanded and future-focused showcase. Notably, DFW remains the first fashion week globally to unveil AW26/27 collections.

As a result, the platform continues to strengthen its position as an international hub for creativity, innovation, and commercial opportunity.

Opening the Global Fashion Calendar

Once again, Dubai Fashion Week will lead the global fashion calendar. This early positioning allows designers to enter international conversations ahead of other markets. Moreover, it enables buyers and retailers to plan collections with greater strategic clarity.

Italian luxury house Alberta Ferretti will open the week. In addition, the programme will feature designers from the region and across the world.

Beyond the Runway: Brand Activations and Launches

This season, the schedule will extend beyond runway presentations. Global brands and industry stakeholders will host exclusive collection launches and experiences. Consequently, DFW will offer a more immersive, experience-led format.

These activations aim to strengthen engagement between designers, buyers, and fashion professionals.

Strengthening Dubai’s Creative Ecosystem

Co-founded by Dubai Design District (d3), part of TECOM Group PJSC, and the Arab Fashion Council, DFW continues to support designer growth. The platform actively nurtures talent and accelerates global exposure.

According to Khadija Al Bastaki, Senior Vice President of d3, Dubai Fashion Week reflects how creativity in the district translates into real commercial success. She also highlighted the growing diversity of brands and the expanding bridge between designers and international retailers.

Fashion Without Borders

Mohammed Aqra, Chief Strategy Officer of the Arab Fashion Council, emphasised that fashion today goes beyond geography. Instead, it is shaped by timing, relevance, and purpose.

He noted that opening AW26/27 collections early allows DFW to influence not only visibility, but also commercial outcomes. As a result, Dubai continues to position itself as a gateway between regional creativity and global markets.

Buyer’s Programme Expands Global Reach

The AW26/27 Buyer’s Programme will welcome leading international buyers. These include global platforms such as Revolve, department stores, concept retailers, and digital marketplaces.

Importantly, the programme focuses on early-stage and growth brands with strong commercial readiness. It also provides curated B2B access, helping designers scale internationally.

Pre-Accreditation Now Open

Pre-accreditation for Dubai Fashion Week AW26/27 is now open. Interested attendees can register online through the official website.

With its expanded format and early global positioning, DFW AW26/27 is set to reinforce Dubai’s role in shaping the future of fashion.
