In accordance with an agreement for exclusive distribution, Destination Maternity has introduced its new Spring/Summer collection at Walmart. Destination Maternity, which has been owned by parent company Marquee Brands since 2019, formerly served as the name of the retail arm of the industry leader in maternity apparel.
The brand’s selection of stylish items is now available to new and expectant mothers thanks to the SS23 collection. These include dresses like the stylish side-ruched Bodycon Dress with short sleeves and adjustable drawcords, the Tie Shoulder Dress with a lightweight design practical for easy nursing, and comfy yet flattering bottoms like the Maternity Jeggings, Stretch Flare Jeans, and Core Leggings, all of which have belly bands to support bumps in styles to be worn with everything from flared.
Additionally, the maternity line offers nursing bralettes with leak-proof pads, tops, bottoms, pregnancy fitness attire, and a supportive belly band. All of these items are made of cooling, buttery soft, seamless four-way stretch material for comfort. Sizes range from Small to XXXL, and styles come in a variety of colorways.
“The debut of Destination Maternity at Walmart was made possible in large part by our multi-year licensing arrangements with Topson Downs and Tefron. Our business hopes to slowly increase its market share through this creative and extensive cooperation while also making affordable maternity apparel available to everyone. Tim Reid, executive vice-president of fashion and leisure at Marquee Brands, stated, “Launching at Walmart gives a tremendous opportunity to broaden our reach and bring vital and fashionable items to more women through every trimester and beyond. “This launch is a testament to our commitment to meeting customers’ needs at an affordable price point, as well as to continue empowering and nurturing mothers across the nation,” the company said.
According to Berch Schultz, vice-president of merchandising for intimates at Walmart, “Walmart is continuing to establish itself as a fashion destination, and that includes expanding our assortment of quality, on-trend apparel and accessories for new and expectant mothers.” We’re thrilled to offer Destination Maternity exclusively to Walmart consumers at the low rates they’ve come to expect from us as we continue to broaden our selection of national brands.
Tefron is happy to announce that, in collaboration with Marquee Brands, we will be bringing the renowned Destination Maternity line to a few Walmart locations. Market-leading nursing bras, pregnancy intimate clothing, and sportswear will all be part of the first collection, which will be offered at the extraordinary prices that Walmart shoppers have come to expect. This launch is a big turning point for us and exemplifies our dedication to provide ladies all around the nation fashionable, high-quality maternity clothing.
