Australia Electric Blanket Imports
In August 2023, supplies from abroad of electric blankets decreased by -34.6% to 10K units, falling for the fifth consecutive month after five months of growth. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw pronounced growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 with an increase of 917% against the previous month. Imports peaked at 303K units in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to August 2023, imports failed to regain momentum.

Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at 6.5M units in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to August 2023, imports failed to regain momentum.

The import price peaked at $25.2 per unit in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to August 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
