Decathlon, a sportswear and equipment retailer, has teamed with quick commerce company Zepto to provide speedier delivery of products from its e-commerce store to customers across India.
“As the demand for an active lifestyle in the country grows, we are committed to being a part of this journey,” Decathlon India CEO Sankar Chatterjee told ET Retail. “This partnership further strengthens our mission to move people through the wonders of sport by quickly and efficiently delivering sporting products and equipment directly to their doorsteps.”
The alliance now spans 16 major Indian cities, including Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Chennai. Customers in these areas can order a wide range of Decathlon products through Zepto to assure speedy delivery, including clothes and equipment for team sports, outdoor sports, and water sports, among others.

Decathlon has recently increased its operations in India, both online and offline. The company intends to boost its number of brick-and-mortar stores to 190 over the next five years, as well as increase its product sourcing in the country.
