The term end semester jury examinations are currently underway at National Institute of Fashion Technology, and the students have been showcasing their exceptional skills and creativity. In the subject “Product Fundamentals: Fashion & Living,” a group of students comprising Vrushto Tandel, Bhavika Vikas, Di Kaha Khurane, and Priyashaben presented a remarkable live demonstration.
The students created prototypes of collections based on diverse themes, including floral, Christmas, Stranger Things, club kids, and ballerina. Their meticulous approach involved developing motifs and working on product development, where they carefully selected fabrics, GSM, and trims. They also paid close attention to crafting seams and overlocks, ensuring a high level of quality in their work.
The students’ ability to compare their designs with the brand’s philosophy, resulting in a cohesive and impactful final collection was visible in the presentation. Their dedication, creativity, and attention to detail have earned them accolades.
