In 2024, Cos, a part of the H&M Group, has teamed up with Nativa, an expert in Merino wool, for a special limited-edition collection. This collaboration focuses on promoting sustainable farming methods that aim to bring about positive changes in the way we nurture the environment. The collection is a testament to Cos’s ongoing dedication to transparency and traceability in their products. It highlights Nativa’s commitment to creating balanced ecosystems and supporting regenerative farming practices. This approach helps farms improve soil quality, preserve water, capture more CO2, and ensure better animal welfare while empowering local farming communities.

Launching both in stores and online this month, the collection includes eight pieces made from
traceable wool fibers. These pieces feature softly tailored attire and high-quality essentials. The knitwear items, certified by Responsible Wool Standard and Responsible Mohair Standard, are crafted from recycled or repurposed wool.

Nativa’s sourcing director, Nicolas Sapelli, explained that they are leading the way in producing top-quality Merino wool through their innovative farming practices. By integrating blockchain technology to ensure trust and traceability throughout the fashion supply chain, consumers can have confidence in the collection’s quality and adherence to strict environmental standards.
