The second installment of Stuart Vevers’ vision of Coach’s American past through the prism of teenage counterculture and the expressive attitude of today’s generation, the Winter 2024 collection, makes its debut today at Coach. The collection expands on the previous season’s offerings from the company, recontextualizing codes of luxury for the present with a focus on layered knits, party wear.

Winter 2024 brought tried-and-true classic pieces into the present and practical settings, further examining Fall’s contrast of American classicism with a young, counter-cultural attitude. This suggested a free-spirited sensibility where conventional notions of dressing up and dressing down start to blur.

The Times Square Tabby, which debuted in the house’s Fall 2024 collection, is examined in a festive metallic finish for leathergoods. Inspired by a 1969 silhouette found in an archive, the Kisslock Frame bag debuted in metallic and tanned leathers, along with Signature knit versions paired with a variety of stacked charms derived from New York City’s unique and humorous visual language.

The collection, which featured recycled denim pants, organic cotton T-shirts and a number of silk taffeta dresses transformed into party skirts, represented the house’s dedication to lowering its environmental effect through design and innovation. Additionally, the house continued to work with regenerative leather, which was brought to life on the runway as a traditional leather bomber jacket, as part of Vevers’ goal to redefine craft through the lens of sustainability.
