The 5th edition of the Fabrics, Accessories & Beyond (FAB) Show 2025, hosted by the Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI), kicked off on April 22 at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Mumbai. Bringing together over 250 exhibitors and expected to draw 12,000+ trade visitors, the show highlights India’s growing strength in the global textile and apparel industry.
The event was inaugurated by top industry leaders including executives from Jade Blue, Juniper Fashions, Pantaloons, Ethnix by Raymond, Kewal Kiran Clothing, Peppermint Clothing, and Raymond Lifestyle. It also enjoys the backing of the Government of Maharashtra and SGCCI. Hon’ble Minister of Textiles, Sanjay Savkare, opened the show, announcing plans for a mega textile park in Mumbai in collaboration with CMAI.
A major announcement at FAB 2025 includes an MoU between CMAI and the Government of Chhattisgarh, marking Chhattisgarh as the ‘Partner State’. The MoU signing will be formalized by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai during his visit on April 23.
The FAB Show provides a robust platform for manufacturers, designers, sourcing heads, and retailers to connect, discover new materials, and collaborate on sustainable innovations. Spread across 2,00,000 sq. ft., the show includes business networking sessions, fashion showcases, and knowledge panels on themes like AI in apparel business, sourcing standards, and the fashion ecosystem.
This year’s theme is rooted in sustainability and circularity, emphasized through a dedicated Sustainability Pavilion, in collaboration with CEE and GATS, featuring over 20 eco-conscious vendors. The show also aligns with Earth Day, reinforcing the message of environmental responsibility.
CMAI continues to drive sustainability through its SU.RE (Sustainable Resolution) initiative, India’s largest voluntary commitment for sustainable apparel, in partnership with Reliance Brands, UN India, and the Ministry of Textiles.
