CMAI Showcases India’s Apparel Sector at Bharat Tex 2025

The Clothing Manufacturers Association of India (CMAI) is set to play a pivotal role at Bharat Tex 2025, India’s largest global textile event, taking place from February 14–17, 2025, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. As a key industry participant, CMAI will highlight India’s apparel sector through a dedicated Brands of India Pavilion, sustainability initiatives, and expert-led panel discussions.

Bharat Tex 2025, backed by the Ministry of Textiles, serves as a premier platform showcasing India’s textile and apparel manufacturing capabilities, sustainability efforts, and innovations. With participation from top brands, policymakers, international buyers, and industry leaders, the event aligns with India’s 5F vision—Farm to Fiber to Factory to Fashion to Foreign Markets.

CMAI’s Key Highlights at Bharat Tex 2025:

Brands of India Pavilion – Featuring 40+ leading Indian apparel brands, including Allen Solly, Biba, Forever 21, Manyavar, Sabyasachi, Van Heusen, and Westside, showcasing their role in shaping India’s retail landscape.

Panel Discussion: India Size Project – A deep dive into India’s first standardized size chart for apparel, led by NIFT and supported by CMAI, aimed at improving fit consistency in fashion retail.

Panel Discussion: Value Retail Growth – Industry leaders discuss how affordable fashion is reshaping the domestic apparel market, with insights from Trent Ltd, Myntra, Manyavar, and V2 Retail Ltd.

Launch of the SU.RE Website & Sustainable Supply Chain DirectoryCMAI, Reliance Brands, United Nations India, and the Ministry of Textiles unveil a platform dedicated to ethical fashion, transparency, and sustainability best practices in India’s apparel industry.
