Recently, the 20th edition of the Clean India Show came to a successful end in front of high-quality attendees over three days, together with its concurrent expos, Waste Technology India Expo, Laundrex India Expo, and Autocare Expo. 10,069 people attended the expo, which was held in the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Mumbai, India’s financial center. Nearly 600 businesses and 170 exhibitors supported the exhibition by showcasing their most recent innovations for improved cleaning, waste management, laundry, and the vehicle care sector. Delegates from more than 60 segments attended the event, including officials from both public and business sectors.
With the importance of waste management and professional cleaning becoming more and more standardized across various public and private facilities, as well as the fact that hygiene standards are becoming non-negotiable, the Clean India Show and its concurrent shows offered creative solutions with a renewed emphasis on sustainability, showcasing a number of cutting-edge industry products and solutions.
The expo’s honorable chief guest, Mr. Sanjay Katkar, Municipal Commissioner of the Mira Bhayandar Municipal Corporation, stated that regular industry-government connections are necessary to enable the government to communicate its issues, which industry then uses innovation to address. Additionally, he believed that programs like Clean India Show are essential to advancing the idea of a clean and green India.
In order to restore hygiene and promote the Swachh Bharat Mission, smart cities are expanding their mobility infrastructure and pushing urban-local bodies (ULBs) to adopt smart waste management systems. The event buzzed about a move toward eco-friendly items. “We are pleased that this year’s Clean India Show has a renewed focus on sustainability in its conferences and even in terms of the products displayed,” said Mr. Ajith Sharma, National Sales Head, Multiline Hygiene Care, one of the exhibitors. In a similar vein, we have introduced Bamboo Tissue, which is composed of bamboo pulp and is completely biodegradable. We are advertising our goods in the IT, healthcare, and HoReCa sectors with this expo.
“We have been associated with Clean India Show for the last six years,” said Mr. Ayush Saxena, Director, STAS Chem Technologies, another exhibitor who participated in every Clean India Show edition. This platform is perfect for new releases since it caters to both domestic and international target sectors. We hope to expand into the hotel and healthcare sectors using the leads we received from the exhibition.
Additionally, the exhibition aided in consumer acquisition.Speaking about a positive experience at the exhibition, Mr. Ashwani Kumar, company Head, Quick Dry Cleaning, explained: “We have been participating since 2016 as we get the industry specific people who are into retail, laundry, and dry-cleaning business.” However, we also got a lot of leads this year from folks just starting out in the washing business. We have released our new WhatsApp marketing tool, the “Quick Dry-cleaning Growth Meet App,” in collaboration with Meta. We hope to have two booths the following year: one for Quick Dry Cleaning Solutions and one for the app.
The need for effective road cleaning solutions is expected to increase as India’s road infrastructure experiences previously unheard-of expansion. The founder of Spruce Up Industries, Mr. Sumedh Bhoj, provided information about the company’s most recent invention: “The recently introduced Stratus Machine is reasonably priced and was created in the USA with particular attention to the needs of Indian industries, including ports, airports, facility management firms, and the automobile industry, among others. We established connections with the appropriate parties, including government agencies, businesses, road cleaning firms, and contractors. Considering the positive reaction, we plan to take part again next year.
“We have received a great foot traffic exhibiting at Clean India Show the year 2024, ranging from facility management to hospitals to government and private industry such as malls, airports, and more,” said Mr. Vedant Matta, Director of Charnock Equipments, who highlighted his several new releases. “It was a really great experience for me,” said Mr. Madhav Rao, Deputy Regional Manager, Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), who attended the presentation. We came here to figure out how to keep our buses in good condition. We have discovered a few fresh approaches to bus cleaning. Up until now, we had been cleaning (fumigation) with aluminum phosphate, which took a long time. However, we discovered an intriguing way to do this with a spray in just one hour. Second, we discovered some intriguing ways to create ambiance, such deodorization. Other noteworthy points that stood out from the throng were plastic waste management, cleaning supplies, and water recycling.
