Citykart, a leading value retailer specializing in family fashion across tier-II and tier-III cities in India, is strategically expanding its footprint with the opening of 10 new stores in October, a significant milestone in its growth trajectory. This expansion, spanning Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and West Bengal, underscores Citykart’s commitment to providing affordable and quality fashion choices to diverse communities.

Celebrating the establishment of its 100th store this year, Citykart emphasizes its dedication to offering accessible fashion in regions that often lack such options. The expansion plan not only signifies the brand’s commitment to reaching more communities but also demonstrates its role in creating employment opportunities for around 300-400 individuals in these areas, contributing to the local economies.

The inaugural store in Kanchrapara, West Bengal, marks Citykart’s entry into the state. Six of the ten new stores strategically position themselves in Bihar, including the third store in Patna’s Machuatoli. Cities like Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Motihari, Bettiah, and Siwan are set to witness the opening of the brand’s second stores, with the Bettiah store poised to become the largest for Citykart, not only in Bettiah but in all of India. Uttar Pradesh will also welcome three new stores, with Jaunpur and Jhansi hosting the brand’s second stores and Rajaji Puram becoming the ninth store in the Lucknow area. All these stores are scheduled to open during the upcoming festival season.

Sudhanshu Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Citykart Retail, expressed enthusiasm about this ambitious expansion, stating, “We are excited to embark on this journey, opening 10 new Citykart stores across West Bengal, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh. Our commitment to serving the unique needs of families in tier-II and tier-III cities remains unwavering. This expansion is a testament to our mission of making fashionable and affordable clothing accessible to everyone.”

In tandem with the expansion, Citykart is delighted to introduce its Winter Collection, available in all their stores. This collection aims to provide customers with a diverse range of stylish and warm winter clothing options, further enhancing the brand’s offerings in line with the changing seasons.
