Circulose, a leading producer of recycled textile pulp, has entered into a strategic partnership with Birla Cellulose, a global leader in sustainable viscose fibre, to accelerate textile recycling and circularity across the value chain.

The collaboration aligns with Circulose’s renewed strategy of strengthening brand-centric, end-to-end solutions. Under the agreement, Circulose will supply pulp made entirely from recycled textile waste. Birla Cellulose will convert this material into viscose staple fibre using CIRCULOSE® pulp and supply it to Circulose’s brand partners.

Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose, said the partnership plays a central role in enabling large-scale adoption of circular materials. He noted that closer collaboration across the value chain is essential to move recycled fibres into the mainstream.

Birla Cellulose, recognised by Canopy’s Hot Button Report for its sustainability leadership, brings extensive experience in scaling circular solutions. The two companies have worked together since the early days of Renewcell and continue to advance circular textile innovation globally.

Vadiraj Kulkarni, Business Head at Birla Cellulose, said the partnership reinforces the company’s commitment to responsible sourcing and high-quality, sustainability-focused fibre solutions.

Together, Circulose and Birla Cellulose aim to drive long-term progress toward a resilient and circular textile industry.
