CHIC Autumn 2026 Marks 12 Years at the Heart of China’s Fashion Industry
The China International Fashion Fair (CHIC) Autumn 2026 is bringing the fashion industry together in Shanghai from 25 to 27 August 2026, marking 12 years of CHIC in the city. The event features 738 exhibitors across 53,000 sqm of exhibition space, with more than 60,000 trade visitors expected.
Positioned as an “Innovation and Integration Platform for Apparel Industry Supply Chains”, CHIC connects brands, manufacturers, designers, buyers and retailers while providing opportunities for sourcing, business matching, knowledge exchange and international collaboration.
The 2026 autumn edition features 11 segments and areas, covering womenswear, menswear, accessories, footwear and bags, denim, winterwear, outdoor and sportswear, emerging brands, international participation, digital fashion and Chinese Style.
Chinese Style Makes Its Autumn Debut
One of the key highlights of CHIC Autumn 2026 is the introduction of Chinese Style as a dedicated area at the autumn edition. The new section reflects the growing commercial relevance of contemporary Chinese fashion, where traditional aesthetics, cultural references and craftsmanship are being reinterpreted by a new generation of designers and brands.
International Fashion Businesses Connect with China
International participation remains an important part of CHIC’s platform, with exhibitors from Italy, the UAE, Korea, Japan and India participating in the 2026 autumn edition.
Through CHIC Worldwide, international companies can explore opportunities in the Chinese market, connect with buyers and retailers, and develop potential partnerships. At the same time, the fair provides Chinese brands with opportunities to engage with the international fashion industry.
From Craftsmanship to Intelligent Manufacturing
The exhibition reflects the diversity of China’s fashion industry, spanning heritage craftsmanship, specialised manufacturing, premium fabrics, original design, intelligent production and internationally focused fashion concepts.
Exhibitors such as SAINT JOY, SIGO, MAY D.WANG and ZIVGREY demonstrate the range of businesses represented across CHIC’s segments, from Song brocade and high-end womenswear manufacturing to contemporary Chinese fashion and accessories.
CHIC Matching Focuses on Business Opportunities
Business matchmaking remains central to the event. On 25 and 26 August, four dedicated Commerce and Trade Matchmaking events in Hall 2.1 are designed to connect brands, buyers and potential business partners.
The programme includes the Fashion Business Brand Matchmaking Fair, Taobao Apparel Brand Matchmaking Fair and two sessions of the Overseas Apparel Brand Business Matchmaking Fair. The formats cover fashion brands, e-commerce and international business, supporting opportunities for commercial cooperation.
AI, E-Commerce and Global Expansion on the Agenda
Knowledge exchange is another major focus, with eight business trend sessions scheduled for 25 and 26 August. Discussions cover AI-powered fashion design, digital transformation, new e-commerce models and international market expansion.
The programme also explores the opportunities and challenges facing Chinese fashion brands expanding internationally, including the role of pan-European fashion e-commerce and compliance in global expansion.
Innovation Across the Fashion Supply Chain
CHIC Autumn 2026 places strong emphasis on the transformation of the apparel value chain through digitalisation, artificial intelligence, intelligent manufacturing, new production models, e-commerce and internationalisation.
The event’s Digital Fashion programme and broader innovation focus highlight how technology and closer integration across different stages of the fashion supply chain are reshaping China’s apparel industry.
As CHIC celebrates 12 years in Shanghai, the fair continues to evolve alongside China’s fashion market. Changing consumer behaviour, digital retail, technological innovation and the growing international ambitions of Chinese designers and brands are shaping the next phase of the industry.
With 738 exhibitors, 11 segments and more than 60,000 expected trade visitors, CHIC Autumn 2026 highlights the scale, diversity and continued momentum of China’s fashion industry.
