Actress and philanthropist Charlize Theron will now represent Dior’s skincare and jewelry ranges as the brand’s new face.

She will collaborate closely with the House on social responsibility projects, with a particular emphasis on women’s empowerment, as part of the Beyond Beauty collaboration. Her long-standing collaboration with Dior, which started in 2004, is being expanded by this move.

“We are thrilled to begin this new phase of our long-term collaboration with Dior. As the face of j’Adore for the past 20 years, it’s been a pleasure to work creatively with the house, Theron remarked. “I’m thrilled to be collaborating with Dior to celebrate the beauty of jewelry and skincare, and I’m proud of everything we have accomplished together.” I’m excited about what is ahead.”

Her fame in the film business was cemented when she won an Oscar for Best Actress for her breakthrough performance in “Monster” (2003). Since then, Theron has acted in several highly regarded movies, including “Young Adult” (2011), “Prometheus” (2012), “Mad Max: Fury Road” (2015), “Atomic Blonde” (2017), and “Fast and Furious 10” (2023). ‘The Old Guard 2’, which is slated for release this year, will include her in the lead role.

In addition to her work in movies, Theron has been a United Nations Messenger of Peace, advocating for the eradication of violence against women and the prevention of HIV/AIDS. She established the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) in 2007 with the goal of enhancing the wellbeing and security of young people in Southern Africa. Through the ‘Chin Up – Dior stands with women’ campaign, Dior has been supporting this project since 2020.

“Welcoming Charlize Theron as Dior’s jewelry ambassador makes me very proud. According to Delphine Arnault, chairperson and CEO of Christian Dior Couture, “Charlize is an icon and the ideal embodiment of the union between arts, craftsmanship, and dreams magnificently embodied by the jewelry created by Victoire de Castellane for the House of Dior.”

CEO of Parfums Christian Dior Véronique Courtois continued, saying, “Charlize is a part of our family who exemplifies the Dior spirit that we cherish. She is an idol because of her uncommon brilliance, her dedication, and her unearthly beauty. Furthermore, and herein is her brilliance, she is genuinely grounded. She is a lady who interacts with other ladies and enjoys their company. Thus, it makes sense to showcase her many sides at the core of the Dior empire by honoring her victorious femininity in other domains that women find particularly appealing, like skincare over jewelry.
