For its autumn/winter 2022 collection, socially conscious performance-led insulation business HD Wool Apparel Insulation has partnered with sustainable Cornish fashion label Celtic & Co. to create three new jackets. Through the partnership, Celtic & Co.’s selection of British-made waxed cotton outerwear has been expanded to three insulated jackets manufactured with HD Wool Apparel Insulation from hand-selected, fully traceable British Wool.

Two new jacket and overshirt designs for men are included in the collection, along with a women’s organic waxed cotton jacket with detachable lining. 75 percent wool and 25 percent Ingeo, a naturally generated poly-lactidefibre that helps stabilise the fabric so it can be cleaned, make up the insulation found within the new jackets. Additionally, all of the wool used to create the insulation is sourced through The Woolkeepers, a unique platform for quality assurance that was created to give producers a sustainable path to the market and give customers certainty that the wool can be traced and certified.
