Catching Up With Theory Project’s Lucas Ossendrijver

 For Lucas Ossendrijver, making the switch from a high-end European company to a more mainstream American name has been learning experience that he has enthusiastically embraced.Since has been hired by Theory in the summer of 2021 to create the men’s and women’s capsule collections for Theory Project, Ossendrijver has become completely engrossed in the style of the New York-based a company. 

Though the business models of Theory and Lanvin, where he served as head of menswear for 14 years, are very different, Ossendrijver thinks he has discovered a way to successfully use From his Parisian studio, the designer added,it is a way of working. “The scale is varied depending on the client. 

The development cycle is substantially longer because Theory is a major firm and I now plan a year ahead rather than four months. But I think my situation is fantastic right now. In addition to owning Uniqlo, Japan’s Fast Retailing own Theory. Additionally, Theory Project is the first time he has designed womenswear.
