Renowned jewelry brand Cartier sees India as a crucial market for its growth worldwide. After opening a new store in Mumbai, the brand aims to strengthen its online presence in the country to reach customers in more areas.
Gaetan Guillosson, Cartier India’s managing director, emphasized their plan to enhance their online retail capabilities in India to complement their physical stores. They aim to connect with customers across the country who may not have easy access to their boutiques in Delhi and Mumbai.
Currently, Cartier sells its products online in India through a dedicated version of its global e-commerce site, along with a customer care line specifically for India. The newly opened flagship store in Mumbai at Jio World Plaza mall reflects Cartier’s iconic style, adorned with gold, red, and beige tones, featuring their classic panther design. This store follows their first-ever India store, established a decade ago in New Delhi’s luxury mall, DLF Emporio.
Founded in 1847 in Paris by watchmaker Louis-François Cartier, the brand was family-owned until 1964 and is now part of the Swiss Richemont Group. With over 200 stores in 125 countries, Cartier continues to expand its presence globally.
