This isn’t the duo’s first time coming together for a project, as their 2022 release of the VERS Shirt sold out in just four weeks. For this latest incarnation, the shirt features eye-catching colour-blocking and several practical zippered details, making it a versatile and functional addition to one’s wardrobe. And for that added touch of fun, the shirt also comes with a matching scrunchie!
Meanwhile, Toronto-based designers Vitaly and Spencer Badu have joined forces to create the Coast chain. The design was inspired by Spencer Badu’s Ghanaian heritage and the idea of migration. The chain is beautifully adorned with African turquoise stones and real cowrie shells, and features a detachable Ghanaian adinkra symbol that represents “Unity”.
