The collaboration between automotive and fashion brands has been a common trend, with companies like Puma partnering with automobile giants such as Ferrari, BMW, Porsche, and Mercedes-Benz. Similarly, car manufacturers have explored the world of fashion, with creations like the Lamborghini Murcielago Versace Edition, Mercedes-Benz Project Gelandewagen by Virgil Abloh, Peugeot 205 Lacoste, Maserati Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna, and Volkswagen Golf GTI Adidas.
In this post, we’ll highlight the recent collaboration between Bugatti and Adidas, resulting in the creation of the Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti football boot. This unique partnership sees the renowned French carmaker, known for its quad-turbo-powered cars, lending its name to a football boot, which will be limited to just 99 pairs worldwide. If you’re in search of footwear that will turn heads and make your fellow football enthusiasts green with envy on the local pitch, this might be the perfect choice.
The limited-edition Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti football boot is built around the X Crazyfast model, incorporating Adidas’ Speedframe sole plate, Aerocage lining, and Aeropacity Speedskin technologies. Bugatti’s influence is evident in the Bugatti Blue finish applied to the semi-transparent mono-mesh material on the mid-foot cage, and a carbon-fiber inlay in the boot’s tooling, replicating the carbon-fiber used in Bugatti cars.
The boot features two phrases on its sides, with ‘Impossible is Nothing’ from Adidas and ‘Create the Incomparable’ from Bugatti. Additionally, the insignia of Ettore Bugatti can be found on the rear three-quarter of the boot. Each pair will come in a unique box inspired by carbon-fiber weaves.
For those interested in owning a pair of the Adidas X Crazyfast Bugatti boots, there will be an auction from November 8-11, where 99 pairs will be available for bidding. The minimum bid starts at 0.2 ETH (Ethereum cryptocurrency), which, at the time of writing, is approximately RM1,765. If you win a pair through the auction, you’ll receive an exclusive digital shoebox, which can be redeemed via Adidas Collect starting from November 13. The boots will make their debut on the pitch this month, unveiled by footballers Rafael Leao and Karim Benzema.
This unique collaboration combines the worlds of luxury sports cars and athletic footwear, offering a one-of-a-kind product for both football and automotive enthusiasts.
