In addition to the Indian-born billionaire Farhana Bodi, who is well-known for her role in the Netflix series “Dubai Bling,” Deepti Sadhwani made waves on the first day of the 2024 Cannes Film Festival with her gorgeous orange long-trail gown.

The Indian singer-actress walked the red carpet at the opening ceremony of the esteemed event. Deepti is anticipated to spend three days in a row walking the red carpet.

“Honored to walk the red carpet for the opening ceremony of the 77th Cannes Film Festival with the record-breaking longest trail of gown,” she wrote, sharing her appearance from the red carpet.

Hollywood star Meryl Streep received the coveted Palme d’Or for her outstanding contributions to film during the opening ceremony.

For those who don’t know, Deepti is a finance graduate who has dabbled with TV, movies, and music videos. After placing as a regional finalist in Femina Miss India and earning the title of Miss North India, her career in show business officially began. Since then, she has starred in other TV series, such as “Hasya Samrat” and “Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah,” and films, including “Rock Band Party” and “Nazar Hati Durghatana Ghati.”

In an interview with a prominent publication, she previously said of her musical pursuits, “I am really loving my musical journey right now. Making music, appearing in music videos, performing live, and, of course, singing are all very busy. I’ve put out twelve songs in the last two years, and a good number of them have received a lot of attention. My song “LaLa Lala Lori” is now a perennial hit on the charts. I’ve had the chance to work with musicians like Ba dshah, Meet Brothers, and others thanks to these independent numbers, all at the perfect moment in my career.”
