BODICE unveiled its latest collection in collaboration with Bemberg™ by Asahi Kasei, spotlighting a journey of transformation, identity, and sustainable innovation. Presented as a runway experience at the BODICE flagship store, the showcase blended refined craftsmanship, Japanese inspiration, and artisan-led techniques.
The collaboration began with an immersive visit to Kyoto and Nobeoka, where BODICE founder Ruchika Sachdeva explored Bemberg™’s heritage and commitment to eco-conscious practices. The journey continued in Surat and Varanasi, where BODICE sourced Bemberg™-based fabrics made in India’s key textile hubs.
The collection celebrates responsible design and material reverence. Featuring Bemberg™ regenerated cellulose fiber, upcycled fabric scraps, and Jaipur-inspired brush-printing, the garments are built for longevity and artistic expression.
With color-blocking, structured silhouettes, and introspective design, the collection reflects Ruchika’s own creative evolution. “This collection is not just fashion—it’s a reflection of change, emotion, and memory,” she shared.
Takeshi Iitaka, General Manager of Bemberg Division, Asahi Kasei, expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing its shared philosophy of cultural exchange and sustainable progress.
The presentation, framed by a lush spring setting and atmospheric soundscapes, brought the concept of transformation and identity to life—marking a powerful return for BODICE and a fresh chapter for conscious fashion.
