With this brand-new, in-house movement, ROAMER OF SWITZERLAND returns to its origins in the purest meaning of the word. At the start of the 20th century, the firm was known as Meyer & Stüdeli, and it was already manufacturing well-known movements in the finest Swiss Made tradition. Hand-winding a watch is more than just practical; it has become a beloved custom among watch enthusiasts and collectors around the world. The gorgeous men’s square watch with manual winding, the new MECHANO by ROAMER OF SWITZERLAND, is ready to captivate your senses and establish itself as your go-to timepiece. Even when put away for a day, this marvel of horological ingenuity maintains precise timekeeping because to its sturdy 44-hour power reserve. At its core is the advanced Incabloc® shock prevention system, which ensures lifespan and dependability while protecting the movement from life’s unforeseen shocks.
The MECHANO is the epitome of elegant, vintage-inspired design combined with premium Swiss-made functionality. A round skeleton window in the elegant soft square case and dial design provides an interesting look at the Meyer and Stüdeli-signed mechanical hand-winding MST-23 movement, which is made in Switzerland. The heart of the manual-wind MECHANO, where no rotor hides any component of the mechanical operation, is particularly visible when you look through the glass caseback to observe the gears in action.
With a dial in blue, black, green, or a stunning cinnamon brown, the MECHANO’s skeleton window is illuminated by a scratch-resistant, anti-reflective sapphire crystal. At twelve o’clock, thin baton hour markers are doubled. Each of the five versions comes with a pair of interchangeable boxes and an additional strap.
A hand-crafted Italian leather strap in black, blue, or brown with an embossed crocodile pattern is included in color coordination with the model design. The MECHANO may quickly alter its appearance without the need for any tools thanks to its easy-changing pushpin system.
