Bharat Tex 2026, India’s largest global textile exhibition, will take place from 14 to 17 July 2026 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, bringing together the country’s complete textile value chain on a single international platform. Organised by the Bharat Tex Trade Federation, a consortium of Textile Export Promotion Councils and industry bodies with support from the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, the event will spotlight India’s growing leadership in textiles, fashion, sustainability, technology, innovation, investment and global trade.
Inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 5F vision, Farm to Fibre to Factory to Fashion to Foreign, Bharat Tex has evolved into a premier business platform that connects manufacturers, exporters, buyers, investors, policymakers, designers, artisans, start-ups and technology providers from across the world.
The third edition is expected to welcome more than 7,000 buyers, 1.3 lakh trade visitors, showcase over 20,000 textile products, and span 1.6 million sq. ft. of exhibition space, creating extensive opportunities for business networking and commercial partnerships.
More than 350 speakers from over 20 countries will participate in the event’s knowledge programme, featuring international experts, policymakers, industry leaders and CXOs. An International Pavilion will further strengthen global collaboration, with participation expected from countries including the US, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and several others.
State participation has also expanded significantly, with eight sponsor states including Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka and Tamil Nadu, alongside nine additional states and Union Territories showcasing regional textile capabilities, investment opportunities and manufacturing strengths.
The exhibition will feature over 1,600 exhibitors across dedicated segments covering fibre, yarn, fabrics, apparel, fashion, home textiles, technical textiles and allied industries. Visitors will also experience dedicated showcases highlighting renowned textile clusters such as Tirupur, Ichalkaranji and Ahmedabad. International exhibitors from 14 countries, along with participation from organisations such as the United Nations and European Union, will further enhance the event’s global profile.
Bharat Tex 2026 will also significantly expand its knowledge platform with more than 100 sessions, including panel discussions, roundtables, masterclasses and state-focused presentations covering trade, investment, sustainability, circularity, innovation, technology, policy, exports and emerging global sourcing trends.
The organisers expect the event to facilitate around 3,500 curated B2B meetings, 100+ B2G meetings, and the signing of more than 20 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across trade, investment, sustainability, technology and institutional collaboration, generating meaningful opportunities for manufacturers, exporters, MSMEs, buyers and international partners.
Growing international interest is reflected in expected ministerial delegations from countries including New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Cambodia and Brunei, alongside business delegations from the US, UK, Japan, Portugal, Russia, UAE, South Africa, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Uganda and several other nations.
The event will also host dedicated State Investor Connect Sessions, enabling participating states to present their textile policies, industrial infrastructure, PM MITRA opportunities and investment ecosystems to domestic and international investors.
Another major highlight will be the CITI Textile Sustainability Awards 2026, recognising excellence across seven sustainability pillars, including resource efficiency, circular economy, sustainable materials, responsible business practices and industry collaboration.
To enhance visitor experience, organisers have introduced the Bharat Tex 2026 Mobile App, offering digital registration, exhibitor discovery, AI-powered assistance, B2B meeting scheduling, QR-enabled lead capture and live event updates. A Pre-Fair Directory has also been launched to facilitate buyer-seller matchmaking before the exhibition, helping participants identify relevant business partners and schedule productive meetings in advance.
With its comprehensive industry participation, international engagement and strong focus on innovation, sustainability and investment, Bharat Tex 2026 aims to reinforce India’s position as a trusted global textile manufacturing and sourcing destination while creating new opportunities for collaboration and long-term industry growth.
