Bestseller India CEO Vineet Gautam to Step Down After 15 Years

Bestseller India, a leading fashion retail company, announced today that Vineet Gautam, its CEO and Country Head, will be stepping down from his position after a successful 15-year tenure.

Since joining the company in 2010, Gautam has played a pivotal role in introducing and establishing renowned international brands such as JACK & JONES, VERO MODA, ONLY, and SELECTED HOMME in the Indian market. Under his leadership, Bestseller India has expanded its presence significantly, with 332 brand outlets and over 1,578 shop-in-shops across the country.

As Gautam departs, the company expressed its gratitude for his invaluable contributions. Bestseller India’s CEO and Owner, Anders Holch Povlsen, acknowledged Gautam’s impact, stating that his departure marks the end of an era but that India remains a key market for the company.

In the interim, Mrithyunjay Amblimath, currently the Head of Sales, will assume the role of interim leader for Bestseller India. Amblimath, a seasoned industry veteran, is expected to continue driving the company’s growth and innovation.

Bestseller India remains committed to enhancing its retail operations, fostering innovation, and elevating customer experiences as it embarks on a new chapter in its journey.
