According to the central bank, all Bangladeshi leather product companies are now eligible for financial incentives when they export goods made in their own facilities. But companies who export leather items made in factories that belong to another company won’t be able to take advantage of the advantages.

Bangladesh’s central bank declared that cash incentives for exporting items from their own facilities are now available to all leather product companies operating in the nation. Companies that export products made in the factories of other companies are not qualified.

All enterprises that produce leather goods in Bangladesh can now earn financial incentives for exporting their products from their own factories, according to the Foreign Exchange Policy Department of the central bank. Businesses that export products made at many factories are not eligible for subsidies.

According to a local media site, a number of businesses are getting monetary incentives for exporting even though they don’t fit the export-oriented requirements. Since 2000, these incentives have been in place; at the moment, a 12% incentive is given for exported leather items.
