A New Luxury Wildlife Stay in Bandhavgarh
Bagh Tola, the boutique wildlife retreat near Bandhavgarh National Park in Madhya Pradesh, has introduced Founders Camp, its newest luxury hospitality offering.
The camp builds on Bagh Tola’s connection with Bandhavgarh’s wilderness. At the same time, it offers travellers more space, privacy and personalised hospitality.
Launched in March 2025, Bagh Tola Founders Camp spans 30 forested acres within a private reserve adjoining Bandhavgarh National Park. The camp features a limited number of large tented suites.
Each suite combines the character of a traditional safari camp with the comforts of contemporary luxury travel.
Designed for Families and Multi-Generational Travel
Founders Camp offers larger accommodation for families and multi-generational groups. Guests can also use the swimming pool between morning and afternoon safaris.
The camp extends the wildlife experience beyond traditional game drives. Guests can choose from private safaris, guided forest walks, stargazing, machan viewing, photography experiences and campfire evenings.
Bagh Tola’s naturalists accompany guests during these experiences. They share insights into local wildlife, birds, plants and the wider forest ecosystem.
A Culinary Experience in the Wilderness
Food also plays an important role at Founders Camp. The culinary programme combines regional influences with the natural setting.
Guests can enjoy wood-fired meals, jungle-inspired thalis, forest breakfasts and dinners beneath the stars. In addition, a private dining tent allows the team to create specially curated menus based on guests’ preferences and schedules.
Bagh Tola’s Two Bandhavgarh Experiences
Founders Camp adds a new dimension to Bagh Tola’s original Jungle Lodge in Bandhavgarh.
The Jungle Lodge sits near the Magadhi Zone and Khitauli Gate of Bandhavgarh National Park. Its smaller tented accommodation and relaxed hospitality appeal to couples and wildlife enthusiasts.
Meanwhile, Founders Camp offers a more spacious and private experience. It adds larger accommodation, enhanced amenities and personalised experiences for travellers who want luxury alongside their wildlife adventure.
Connecting Guests with Bandhavgarh’s Wilderness
Both properties remain closely connected to the landscape, biodiversity and local community of Bandhavgarh.
Expert naturalists accompany guests on safaris and nature walks. They interpret wildlife sightings while also highlighting birdlife, plants, animal tracks and the relationships within the forest ecosystem.
The experience therefore extends beyond a tiger sighting. Guests can discover fresh pugmarks, listen to bird calls at dawn and observe the smaller details of the forest.
