For the first time since the epidemic, the Taiwan Textile Federation (TTF) made a comeback to participate in Intex Sri Lanka 2024. Pre-exhibition discussions were arranged by Worldex India with important industry players, such as the Sri Lanka Apparel Exporters’ Association (SLAEA) and the Joint Apparel Association Forum of Sri Lanka (JAAF), in order to make the most of their presence.
and the Sri Lanka Association for Apparel Sourcing (SLASA). Furthermore, Taiwanese companies were given significant insights into the Sri Lankan industry and chances for partnership through private factory visits to top apparel manufacturers including Hela Clothing and Crystal Martin Lanka.

As a government-sponsored agency committed to promoting sustainable and creative Taiwanese textiles worldwide, we have sent five of our top businesses to Sri Lanka to investigate joint venture possibilities with regional clothing manufacturers. This is both my first visit to Intex and our mills’ first trip to Sri Lanka. Given the rising demand for Taiwanese fabrics in the Sri Lankan market, we think there is a great deal of room for cooperation. We are really pleased with Intex’s lively environment and upbeat vibe. This program is a fantastic venue because it has given us a lot of exposure.
At Intex Sri Lanka 2024, five high-end Taiwanese textile firms connected with buyers from South Asia, Sri Lanka, and other international markets by showcasing their most recent innovations. The TEPP stand featured fabric samples and swatches from fifteen additional Taiwanese enterprises, and during the course of three days, over a hundred inquiries were made by those who stopped by.
Participating Taiwanese companies included Be Be Cotton Knitting Co., Ltd., known for its high-end cotton products as well as natural dyed fabrics; Premiere Fashion Corp., a professional and integrated converter of sustainable knitted, woven, and spandex fabrics for sportswear and outdoor performance wear; and King Textile Co., Ltd., which specializes in producing recycled MMF & synthetic as well as blended fabrics – both knit and woven.
All things considered, Taiwanese companies had a really successful day at Intex. The response and questions raised at the show overwhelmed the Federation and the participating firms. In the upcoming editions, Taiwan Textile Federation intends to create a larger pavilion with more enterprises in order to highlight Taiwanese textiles that are both innovative and sustainable.
