ASICS SportStyle has partnered with Japanese fashion brand doublet to introduce the GEL-QUANTUM™ 360 I AMP sneaker. The collaboration draws inspiration from the world of the Jurassic period, blending playful storytelling with advanced footwear technology.
The sneaker features a bold dinosaur head graphic that runs across the entire upper. ASICS applies 3D printing to create a textured surface that resembles reptilian skin. In addition, three-dimensionally placed polyurethane elements give the impression that the dinosaur’s form rises from the shoe.
The sole design reflects the imagery of a dinosaur’s teeth and gums. When the heels are placed together and the toes are moved, the shoes visually mimic a dinosaur opening and closing its jaws. This interactive detail adds movement and character to the design.
Despite its playful appearance, the sneaker embeds ASICS’ proven sports technology beneath the surface. The design reflects the brand’s ongoing focus on precise moulding, functional beauty, and performance-driven innovation.
