Archroma is set to present a comprehensive portfolio of sustainable denim solutions at Kingpins Amsterdam, taking place from 15 to 16 April 2026 in Amsterdam.

Under the theme “Creating Possibilities in Denim”, the showcase highlights Archroma’s focus on delivering environmentally responsible solutions without compromising on performance or commercial viability.

Julio Perales, Technical & Product Segment Manager Denim at Archroma, said, “Denim leaders are strongly motivated to reduce environmental impact, but cannot afford to sacrifice market appeal or production efficiency. At Archroma, we continuously challenge conventions, with an R&D philosophy that accepts nothing less than eliminating hazardous chemicals and processes while simultaneously improving performance and reducing resource use. That’s how we have built such a broad portfolio of game-changing solutions.”

Key Innovations on Display

Cleaner Dyestuffs
Archroma is addressing challenges in indigo and sulfur dyeing with advanced solutions:

  • DENISOL® PURE INDIGO: An aniline-free synthetic indigo designed to meet global eco-standards while reducing pollution and improving recyclability.
  • DIRESUL® EVOLUTION BLACK: A next-generation sulfur black dye that significantly reduces lifecycle impact, water usage, and chemical waste.
  • DIRESUL® RDT: A bluesign®-approved dye range supporting diverse denim shades and applications.

Circular Colorants
The company is advancing circular economy practices through biosynthetic dyes:

  • EARTHCOLORS®: Derived from agricultural and herbal waste, reducing environmental impact across water and resource use.
  • FIBERCOLORS®: Developed using wool waste, contributing to resource optimisation and sustainable sourcing.

Upstream Dyeing Innovation

  • DENIM HALO: An award-winning yarn pretreatment and dyeing process that enables laser-friendly denim finishing. This innovation eliminates the need for hazardous chemical treatments and improves fabric performance, including reduced shrinkage and enhanced tensile strength.

Driving Sustainable Denim Transformation

Archroma’s solutions are designed to integrate seamlessly into existing manufacturing workflows, enabling mills to adopt sustainable practices without compromising efficiency or output.

The company’s participation at Kingpins Amsterdam reflects its commitment to supporting the denim industry’s transition towards cleaner production, circular materials, and advanced processing technologies.
