Archroma and HeiQ Partner on Antimicrobial Textile Solutions

Archroma, a global leader in sustainable specialty chemicals, has partnered with HeiQ, a Swiss deeptech innovator in functional textiles and sustainable fibres. Through a co-marketing agreement, the two companies aim to bring next-generation antimicrobial and odor-control technologies to the global textile industry.

Together, the partnership combines Archroma’s worldwide reach and application expertise with HeiQ’s innovation-led material technologies. As a result, brands, retailers, and textile mills gain access to a broader portfolio of high-performance and planet-conscious textile solutions.

According to Dhirendra Gautam, Vice President Commercial at Archroma, the collaboration marks an important milestone. He stated that the partnership strengthens the company’s ability to deliver sustainable, high-performance technologies at scale. Moreover, it supports the textile industry’s shift towards a more environmentally responsible value chain.

Similarly, Carlo Centonze, CEO of HeiQ, highlighted the shared vision behind the alliance. He noted that HeiQ’s mission focuses on advancing deeptech material innovation for people and the planet. By leveraging Archroma’s established global network, the partnership allows these innovations to scale faster and reach more brands and manufacturers worldwide.

Importantly, the collaboration enables textile producers to integrate functional, compliant, and sustainable effects with greater ease. Through Archroma’s customer network, HeiQ’s advanced technologies become more accessible across markets. In turn, this helps manufacturers respond to rising consumer demand for hygiene, freshness, and sustainability.
