Archroma Earns Portfolio-Wide Cradle to Cradle Certifications

Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, has strengthened its commitment to circularity in the textile industry. The company announced that ten product groups have achieved Cradle to Cradle Certified® Material Health Gold under Version 4.0 of the standard.

Advancing Safer Chemistry for Circularity

The certifications cover dozens of Archroma brands and nearly 200 individual products. They serve as a trusted verification of safety and environmental responsibility under the world’s leading multi-attribute standard. As a result, textile mills and fashion brands can confidently use these products to pursue Cradle to Cradle certification for finished fabrics and garments.

The Cradle to Cradle Material Health standard evaluates chemical ingredients for their safety to humans and ecosystems. Safe chemical composition forms the foundation of circularity because it enables responsible recycling and composting.

Commitment to Cleaner Chemistry and Transparency

“Our goal is to exceed industry standards and support the shift to cleaner chemistries,” said Dhirendra Gautam, Global VP Commercial, Archroma. “The Cradle to Cradle label has become increasingly significant at the brand and mill level. We believe in transparency and helping partners make informed decisions that protect human health and the environment. At the same time, these solutions can improve resource efficiency and enhance product durability.”
