The top responsible sourcing programs in Europe, Source Home & Gift and Source Fashion, have partnered with Retail 100 for the Intelligence Series to offer advice and insights on global sourcing.
The “Intelligence Series,” which was recorded at the Source studios in collaboration with Retail 100, aims to offer insightful analysis and useful advice to assist consumers successfully navigate the ever-changing home and gift-sourcing landscape.
With more than a century of retail experience, Retail 100 offers global knowledge and expertise in a variety of retail areas, such as seasonal, home, gift, fashion, toys, garden, and beauty. A video series covering eight important sourcing regions follows a beginner’s guide to sourcing, which introduces the strategic and cooperative relationship spanning the Source portfolio of shows.
Join former John Lewis buyers Anna Berry and Sara Allbright from Retail 100 in the first video, “A Beginners Guide to Sourcing,” for an in-depth look at sourcing, covering topics such as where to start, how to plan your sourcing routes, how to create a critical path, country selection, shipping, sustainable and responsible sourcing, visas, and travel advice.
The movies “Sourcing Intelligence – Country Focus” go into the particulars of finding materials for homes and gifts from around the world. Every film focuses on the unique traits, difficulties, and possibilities of sourcing in various nations, such as Portugal, Bangladesh, China, India, Africa, and Turkey, and provides insightful analysis and professional information to help viewers make wise and strategic sourcing decisions.
