Shri Anil Rajbanshi Appointed as Vice-Chairman of MATEXIL

Shri Anil Rajbanshi has been appointed as the Vice-Chairman of MATEXIL (Man-Made and Technical Textiles Export Promotion Council), which promotes the export of man-made fibres, yarns, fabrics, made-ups, and technical textiles.

Currently President at Reliance Industries Limited since 2004, Shri Rajbanshi brings decades of industry leadership, having started his career with the Birla Group and actively contributing to national textile policy through his work with CII, FICCI, and the Textiles Committee.

Speaking on his appointment, he said, “Man-made Fibre Textiles is the future, and I look forward to contributing to the growth of this sector.”

Shri Shaleen Toshniwal, Chairman of MATEXIL, added, “Shri Rajbanshi’s deep understanding and extensive experience in the MMF sector will significantly enhance the Council’s initiatives.”

His appointment is seen as a strategic step in bolstering India’s exports of synthetic and technical textiles—sectors poised for exponential growth globally.
