The French fashion brand Chloé has announced that it will be the first to collaborate with Angelina Jolie’s new clothing line, Atelier Jolie, to develop a capsule collection that will, in its words, honour femininity.
In a statement, Chloé said that the premium ready-to-wear collection would be “an exercise in modern femininity” and “celebrate authentic women-to-women connections.”
The company said that the capsule will honour “both brands’ respective commitments to improving social and environmental sustainability with greater transparency and accountability” and would be co-created by Jolie and Chloé creative director Gabriela Hearst.
The collection will include pieces that highlight female-led businesses as well as artists from Fair Trade enterprises. Additionally, deadstock materials will be used to create a number of styles.
