Between 2018 and 2023, the nation’s more than 200 fashion e-commerce firms raised a total of over $2.2 billion.
According to the survey, Delhi, NCR, is the nation’s center of fashion. The region has raised more than $1.4 billion in more than 60 deals, more than twice as much as Bengaluru ($237 million and $300 million, respectively).
It is anticipated that Indians will update their outfits more regularly than most. This appears to be the claim made in Inc42’s most recent “State of Indian Ecommerce Report, Q1 2024.”
The report states that the domestic fashion e-commerce market is expected to rise at a CAGR of 25% to break the $112 billion threshold by the end of the decade. This is because the Indian e-commerce market is expected to cross the $400 billion+ level by 2030 (increasing at a CAGR of 19%).
