Multi-brand premium Amethyst, an Indian fashion boutique, will host womenswear designer Payal Pratap in Chennai for the first time this week. On August 22, the designer will hold a sale at her Royapettah boutique.
Amethyst said in a news statement that the special sale and display will continue until August 24. Payal Pratap also recently held an online exclusive deal on its e-commerce store from August 8 to 15, as reported on Facebook.
“Discover signature styles featuring a unique mix of handcrafted elegance and comfort over a wide range of tops, tunics, kurta sets, dresses, stoles and sarees on amazing discounts,” Amethyst said in a news release. The event will showcase clothes priced from Rs 3,500 onwards, giving city customers the opportunity to purchase inexpensive pieces from the luxury brand.
Payal Pratap’s latest collection debuted on the runway at Lakmē Fashion Week x Fashion Design Council of India in spring. The collection, dubbed ‘The Soft Parade’, featured ancient Kutch craft processes reinvented for the modern Indian woman. The fusion style collection incorporates bandhani patterns on silk and stitching borrowed from traditional kedias, combining loose silhouettes with delicate, feminine details.
