Leading recycler of cotton textiles, Renewcell, is happy to announce that reputable Swedish investment firm Altor has purchased its remaining assets. With this acquisition, Renewcell—now known as Circulose—begins a new chapter in its history. With Altor as its owner, Circulose has stable funding for the future, guaranteeing the success of the business’ ground-breaking cotton recycling technology on a worldwide basis.

One of the key components of the business’s activities has been the technique for recycling cotton to create viscose, a dissolving pulp for MMCF manufacturers. The cutting-edge approach to achieving textile-to-textile circularity, known as CIRCULOSE® pulp, will continue to pave the way for the fashion and textile industries’ sustainable future.

Thanks to the commitment of our CIRCULOSE® Supplier Network (CSN) partners, who consistently supply high-quality resources, our current inventory of CIRCULOSE® pulp and fibre is prepared to satisfy market demands. This guarantees a continuous supply chain, allowing the market to advance with confidence.
