Alok will play a key role in enhancing Pepperfry’s standing as the top furniture and home décor brand in India. He will concentrate on supply chain optimization in his new position to guarantee a smooth client experience across all platforms. His in-depth knowledge of Pepperfry’s operations and supply chain, together with his successful track record, will be essential in fostering the company’s ongoing expansion by guaranteeing a smooth client experience across all platforms.
Alok has over 23 years of expertise in supply chain management, omnichannel business, strategic business management, and customer experience in a variety of industries, including retail, e-commerce, and B2B and B2C wholesale marketplaces. Alok was instrumental in creating Pepperfry’s robust logistics and warehousing infrastructure as a founding team member. Over the course of his ten years with the company, he oversaw the expansion of its experience stores, which are now a crucial component of the omnichannel strategy.
Alok was the COO of Isho.com, a D2C eCommerce furniture business in Bangladesh, where he oversaw the brand’s entry into the Indian market and improved customer experiences, prior to returning to Pepperfry. Notable roles he has held include Manager of Consumer Operations at Guthy-Renker LLC, Senior Manager at Carnation Auto India, and Vice President at Wydr.in.
