Recently, Jennie Kim and Korean rapper and songwriter Zico released their new single, Spot. The singer shared a behind-the-scenes clip of the session in which she donned a long-sleeved black sheer blouse over a huge grey Art Dept t-shirt, a grey pleated miniskirt, black schoolgirl-style shoes, & long white socks.

In the recording studio, Jennie was serving out casual soft punk with her hair in a sloppy bun. The member of Blackpink is renowned for her carefree streetwear, youthful, ultra-feminine style, & influence on the Gen-Z fashion trend of mixing various subcultures and aesthetics.

As the Chanel brand’s spokesperson, Jennie is frequently seen wearing everything the company produces. The singer chooses a variety of aesthetics in her daily life, such as soft punk and balletcore, and her style stays true to the K-fashion genre. The K-pop sensation has been sporting loose, baggy shirts and pleated miniskirts in muted.

Before embracing soft punk and neutral colors, the singer was well-known for personifying the balletcore image. While we admire how effortlessly she can pull off a variety of looks and subcultures, take a look below at some of her most recent looks that would make her a model for Marc Jacobs’ Heaven. Just swap out the brand’s vibrant colors for muted grays and black hues, add a dash of gothic punk, & you’ll have Jennie Ruby Jane’s look-down pat.
