The Advanced Recycling Conference 2026 (ARC 2026) has officially opened its call for abstracts, inviting researchers and industry professionals to contribute to Europe’s leading platform for advanced recycling technologies.

Scheduled to take place on 17–18 November 2026 in Cologne and online, the conference will bring together stakeholders across the recycling value chain to explore innovations aimed at closing the material loop and advancing a circular renewable carbon economy.

As industries respond to evolving EU recycling targets and changing market dynamics, ARC 2026 will focus on the latest developments in technology, policy, and regulatory frameworks shaping the future of recycling across sectors such as plastics, polymers, textiles, and automotive.

The conference will cover a wide spectrum of topics, including advanced processes like extrusion, dissolution, solvolysis, enzymolysis, and pyrolysis, alongside pre- and post-treatment technologies. It will also highlight the growing role of digital tools such as artificial intelligence and blockchain, as well as life cycle assessment in evaluating environmental impact.

Positioned as a key knowledge and networking hub, ARC 2026 aims to foster collaboration between technology providers, waste management companies, brands, investors, policymakers, and the scientific community. The event will also explore strategies for selecting appropriate recycling technologies based on different waste streams and emerging innovations with strong future potential.

Abstract submissions are open until 31 July 2026, while early bird registration with a 20 percent discount is available until 16 July 2026. The conference also offers opportunities for companies to participate through sponsorships and exhibitions, enhancing visibility within the global recycling ecosystem.

With its strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainability, ARC 2026 continues to play a critical role in shaping the future of advanced recycling and circular economy solutions.
