It’s safe to assume that Aditi Rao Hydari has an eye for Raw Mango items despite her personal and professional obligations. From silk lehengas to organza saris, the actor has favored a few eye-catching looks from the brand. You might not have realized, however, that Rao Hydari has supported a certain Sanjay Garg silhouette—the seasoned designer’s iconic sharara outfits made in brocades fit for an heirloom. Her most recent choice highlights the exquisite Varanasi silk fabric made by hand as well.

Among many other celebrities, Alia Bhatt, Rashmika Mandanna, Preity G Zinta, Mrunal Thakur, and Kareena Kapoor Khan have been photographed wearing the understated yet eye-catching sharara set in a rainbow of colors. However, few have shown as much devotion to the work as Rao Hydari, who changes his shade with the seasons. Now, in June 2024, she relied on a rani pink version to create another stunning appearance. The kurta, which has a plunging V-neckline, sleeves that reach the elbows, and high side slits, is made of Benarasi silk brocade and is covered with a jaal of palm trees and flowers in gold treads that make it look like a wearable work of art. The kurta is worn with flared trousers that match. Her outfit is completed with a fuchsia organza dupatta that has beautiful embroidery.

Rao Hydari resorted to Raw Mango’s Radhika sharara set in April for the press tour of the Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The set was produced using a bottle green Varanasi silk brocade that was taken from the label’s archives utilizing the intricate Kadwa method, in which each design is sewn independently.

She had previously chosen the jade Usha outfit with peacock and floral designs for another event. We adore this ensemble because of the kurta’s pink silk lining, which peeks out at just the right angles to create an opulent but peekaboo look.

She also accepted a different variation that was colored a modern powder blue. The short kurta, which gave off an ice princess impression, featured a high neck with tiny frills that extended down the sleeves, and the matching sharara leggings were adorned with pearl and stone accents. Floral lattices embroidered with exquisite detail adorned the organza dupatta. Then there was the black sharara that was worn to a Mumbai wedding reception for a friend.

This time, the diva didn’t hesitate to add some more color with her accessory selection to go along with her rani pink ensemble. She accessorized her ensemble with a beautiful navratna choker and showed off her engagement ring, a Toi et Moi piece from Hyderabad-based Andal.
