Adidas Originals, a global label deeply connected to local culture, has unveiled its first-ever India co-created sneaker in collaboration with brand ambassador Ranveer Singh.
Marking a significant milestone for the brand in India, the launch reinterprets one of its most iconic silhouettes, the Adidas Superstar, through Ranveer Singh’s distinctive perspective on identity and self-expression.
Widely recognised as a defining performer of his generation, Ranveer Singh infuses the collaboration with his signature energy. This edition of the Superstar reflects his bold and expressive persona, with each design element carrying symbolic meaning. Inspired by his spirit animal, the Royal Bengal Tiger, the sneaker channels strength, instinct, and individuality. A striking black-and-white base is enhanced with tiger-inspired detailing along the signature three stripes, a customised ‘Ranveer Singh’ insignia, and jewel-like accents that add texture, depth, and visual intensity.
Beyond a design partnership, this release represents adidas Originals’ first hyperlocal drop from India, positioning the country as a key contributor to the global sneaker landscape.
Titled Unleash the Original — The Ranveer Singh Superstar, the sneaker is introduced through a visually compelling campaign set in an urban jungle. The narrative places Ranveer Singh at its centre, embodying a balance of raw energy and controlled expression. The storytelling explores contrasts such as discipline and chaos, echoing both the spirit of the tiger and the essence of originality.
This collaboration signals an important step for adidas Originals in India, reinforcing the legacy of the Superstar while highlighting the growing global relevance of Indian creativity.

The adidas Originals Ranveer Superstar is priced at INR 11,999 and will be available from April 24, 2026, at select adidas Originals stores, on adidas.co.in, and on Myntra.
