Khanna Gems and MyNaksh Join Forces

Khanna Gems, an Indian gemstone company with nearly four decades of experience, has entered into a strategic alliance with MyNaksh, an AI-led astrology platform.

The partnership brings together traditional gemstone expertise and technology-led astrology. It will focus on consumer education, knowledge initiatives, digital experiences and awareness at the intersection of gemstones, astrology and technology.

However, the alliance does not involve a merger or integration of the two businesses.

Khanna Gems will continue to manage its gemstone-related activities independently. Meanwhile, MyNaksh will continue to develop and operate its technology-led astrology platform independently.

Traditional Gemstone Expertise Meets AI Technology

For Khanna Gems, the partnership creates an opportunity to bring its decades of gemstone knowledge into a technology-driven consumer environment.

At the same time, MyNaksh can work alongside a company with longstanding expertise in the gemstone category.

Aaradhya Khanna, Director & CEO, Khanna Gems, said:

“The alliance brings together two very different areas of expertise.”

“Khanna Gems has spent nearly four decades developing specialised knowledge of gemstones and building systems around their quality, authenticity and selection. At the same time, we are witnessing an entirely new generation of technology-led businesses emerge within the broader astrology and spirituality ecosystem.”

He added:

“The objective is to identify areas where the two capabilities can complement each other without either organisation moving away from its core area of specialisation.”

MyNaksh Brings Personalisation to Astrology

MyNaksh approaches the astrology market through artificial intelligence, personalisation and digital consumer experiences.

Nitesh Salvi, CEO & Co-founder, MyNaksh, said:

“The collaboration addresses an opportunity around personalisation within a category where recommendations have traditionally been highly individualised.”

“Most purchases in this category are driven by astrologer recommendations, and yet most online recommendations are generic. Our personalisation technology allows us to understand users with significantly greater context, while Khanna Gems brings deep expertise built over decades in the gemstone category.”

The partnership could therefore create new ways for consumers to discover information about gemstones and astrology through digital experiences.

Khanna Gems Brings Four Decades of Experience

Founded in 1987, Khanna Gems has developed expertise across gemstone sourcing, evaluation, authentication, certification, selection and customer guidance.

Over the years, the company has built systems and processes around gemstone quality and authenticity. It has also adapted its approach as consumer expectations have changed.

Pankaj Khanna, Founder, Khanna Gems, said:

“The industry has evolved considerably over the past four decades, while knowledge, authenticity and trust have remained central to the category.”

“Technology is now changing the way consumers discover and engage with traditional disciplines. MyNaksh represents a new generation of companies approaching this space through technology and innovation. This alliance brings together that new-age perspective with Khanna Gems’ longstanding gemstone expertise.”

MyNaksh Expands Its Technology-Led Astrology Platform

MyNaksh has built its platform around artificial intelligence, personalisation and digital consumer experiences.

Its technology includes an in-house Vedic astrology engine, memory engine and personal intelligence graph. These systems aim to support more personalised interactions with users.

The platform has reached 1 million monthly active users and a $2 million annual revenue run-rate in just over seven months since launch.

Devaang Agarwalla, COO & Co-founder, MyNaksh, said:

“The collaboration brings together two organisations that have built their businesses around consumer trust.”

New Initiatives Expected from the Alliance

The two companies expect to announce specific initiatives resulting from the strategic alliance in due course.

For now, both organisations will continue to operate independently while exploring areas where gemstone knowledge and technology can complement each other.

The partnership highlights a broader shift in how traditional categories can use AI, personalisation and digital platforms to improve consumer education and engagement.
