PUMA, RCB and Dhruv Kapoor Take Cricket Culture to Milan Fashion Week

PUMA India is bringing the cultural energy of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) into the international fashion arena through a new collaboration with Indian designer Dhruv Kapoor.

The partnership will see exclusive PUMA × RCB designs reinterpreted through Kapoor’s distinctive design language, with statement jackets making their debut at Milan Fashion Week on September 22, 2026, as part of his Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Presence.

The collaboration combines PUMA’s sporting heritage, RCB’s powerful fan culture and Kapoor’s experimental approach to contemporary fashion. Existing PUMA products have been reworked through the designer’s perspective, bringing together technical construction, handcrafted details and references to cultural memory.

The Milan presentation represents the first stage of the collaboration. A wider PUMA × RCB × Dhruv Kapoor collection is scheduled to reach fans ahead of the 2027 IPL season in March.

From Cricket Merchandise to Fashion

The collaboration builds on PUMA and RCB’s six-year partnership, which has progressively expanded the way supporters express their connection with the team. Beyond traditional jerseys, the partnership has introduced athleisure and lifestyle products that have taken RCB fandom into everyday dressing.

According to PUMA India Managing Director Ram Sridharan, athleisure currently accounts for nearly 40% of the brand’s overall RCB merchandise. He described the Dhruv Kapoor collaboration as another step in expanding the relationship between sport, fashion and culture.

RCB CEO Rajesh V Menon said the partnership reflects the franchise’s broader approach to fandom, noting the evolution from jersey culture towards lifestyle and athleisure. The Milan debut marks an exploration of how RCB’s sporting identity can be interpreted through a contemporary fashion perspective.

Dhruv Kapoor Reinterprets Sporting Codes

For Dhruv Kapoor, the project centres on transforming familiar visual codes associated with PUMA and RCB through his own design vocabulary.

The resulting collector’s edition jackets explore the relationship between performance wear and craftsmanship, shifting recognisable sporting elements towards more fashion-focused constructions.

The collection forms part of Kapoor’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection, Presence, giving the PUMA and RCB partnership an international fashion platform at Milan Fashion Week.

Collection Availability

Following their Milan debut, the statement jackets are expected to become available through PUMA.com, select PUMA stores, and selected Dhruv Kapoor stores and online channels.

The larger collection is planned for release in March 2027, ahead of the next IPL season, extending the collaboration from a Milan Fashion Week showcase into a wider fan-focused offering.
