L’Oréal Paris Launches India-First Festive Hair Colour Collection

L’Oréal Paris has introduced a limited-edition festive hair colour collection under its Casting Crème Gloss range, created specifically for the Indian market. The launch marks the brand’s first festive hair colour range developed exclusively for India, with India-inspired shades, names and regional personalities featured on the packaging.

The collection introduces three new brown shades: Filter Kaapi Brown, inspired by the rich character of South Indian filter coffee; Chai Latte Brown, drawing from the smooth and comforting tones of Indian chai; and Spiced Cinnamon Brown, inspired by the warm, earthy character of cinnamon.

Adding a distinctive regional element, the collection features Indian personalities from different parts of the country on its packs. Sai Godbole from Maharashtra represents Spiced Cinnamon Brown, bringing her experience in music covers and relatable digital content to the campaign. Preeti Sarkar from West Bengal is the face of Chai Latte Brown, reflecting the cultural character of Kolkata through her storytelling. Vinusha Devi, an actor and model from Tamil Nadu, represents Filter Kaapi Brown and its South Indian inspiration.

Through the India-first collection, L’Oréal Paris combines its global beauty expertise with shades, stories and faces that reflect India’s diverse cultural landscape. The launch is designed to make festive beauty more locally relevant while connecting with consumers through familiar cultural references.

The limited-edition shades retain the established Casting Crème Gloss formula, an ammonia-free hair colour enriched with L’Oréal Paris’ Glycolic Gloss Complex. The formula is designed to deliver up to 5X glossier-looking hair, visibly healthier-looking hair and a salon-like colouring experience at home.

The festive collection highlights L’Oréal Paris’ focus on creating beauty experiences that are culturally relevant and personalised for Indian consumers, while bringing regional representation into the global beauty brand’s product storytelling.
