SHREE Enters Hyderabad, Plans 20 to 25 More Stores in Telangana by 2028
SHREE, one of India’s leading women’s ethnic wear brands, has made its retail debut in Hyderabad with the opening of its first store at TNR North City Mall. Spanning 1,500 sq. ft., the new outlet was inaugurated by celebrity chief guest Ms. Ramya Kailasa, Femina Miss India Telangana 2026, alongside SHREE Co-founders Sandeep Kapoor and Sheetal Kapoor.
With the Hyderabad launch, SHREE is targeting further expansion across Telangana, with plans to open 20 to 25 additional stores over the next two years. The expansion comes as Hyderabad and the wider Telangana region continue to see growth in organised retail, supported by expanding malls and fashion retail infrastructure.
The new store features SHREE’s extensive portfolio of women’s ethnic and contemporary wear, including occasion sarees, everyday kurtas, kurta sets with dupattas, kurtis, tunics and co-ords. The range also includes bottom wear such as wide-leg trousers and leggings. Designed in-house and offered under SHREE’s private label, the collections focus on comfort, fit and fabric selection, featuring materials such as cotton, linen, Banarasi silk and chiffon.
The brand already has a strong customer base in Telangana through its online channels, and the Hyderabad store marks an effort to strengthen its physical retail presence in the region. Nationally, SHREE reaches more than 2.5 million households and has sold over 7.5 million outfits to date. The brand also has an expanding international presence and maintains a strong digital footprint through its website and major e-commerce platforms including Myntra, Amazon and Nykaa Fashion.
Sandeep Kapoor, Chairman & Managing Director, SHR Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd., said, “We’ve had customers buying from us online across the state for years now, and honestly the numbers made this an easy call. Opening 20 to 25 more here isn’t a small target, but we’ve seen enough to back it. For us it’s not just about opening stores, it’s about creating work for people right there, whether that’s a small tailoring unit or a skilled craftsman, backing that local talent is what actually helps us go deeper into the market and grow our sales. We’re not testing the waters here, we’re going all in.”
Sheetal Kapoor, Co-founder, SHR Lifestyles Pvt. Ltd., said, “Hyderabad is growing fast, and women are a big part of that growth story. We design keeping her in mind. Someone who’s out of the house by 8 in the morning, back only by 9 at night, work in between, family in between, sometimes a wedding thrown in too. Her clothes need to look presentable and still feel comfortable, and that combination isn’t easy to find. In a store, she can feel the fit and fabric herself, take her time, something a screen can’t give. This store isn’t just an opening for us, it’s us showing up for the women of this city.”
The Hyderabad launch marks a significant step in SHREE’s Telangana growth strategy, combining its established online customer base with an expanding offline retail network.
