Texhibition Istanbul 2026 Showcases Türkiye’s Textile Strength and Innovation

The 10th edition brings more than 500 exhibitors across five halls, spotlighting denim, fabrics, yarns, technical textiles, AI and future trends.

The 10th edition of Texhibition Istanbul Fabric and Textile Accessories Fair has opened its doors at Istanbul Expo Center, bringing together more than 500 exhibiting companies across five halls and 42,850 square metres from 9 to 11 September 2026.

The fair presents new-season collections, materials and technologies, connecting Türkiye’s textile manufacturing capabilities with an increasingly international community of brands, buyers, designers, sourcing specialists and product developers.

Following its March 2026 edition, which attracted more than 20,000 professional visitors, including 5,565 international visitors, Texhibition is placing a stronger emphasis on a targeted international audience of brands, buyers, designers and product development professionals. Dedicated Business Lounge and B2B areas support sourcing meetings and new business relationships.

Broad Textile Product Portfolio

Across its five exhibition halls, Texhibition covers key textile categories including knitted and woven fabrics, printed fabrics, artificial leather, denim, yarn, knitting, embroidery, lace and accessories.

Hall 4 focuses on knitted fabrics, Halls 5 and 6 feature woven fabrics, while printed fabrics and artificial leather are also presented in Hall 6. Hall 7 hosts Blue Black, the fair’s dedicated denim platform, while Hall 8 brings together yarn, knitting, embroidery, lace and accessories. Trend Areas accompany the product segments, alongside the ReValue Stock Hub, Innovation Hub and SmartTex HUB.

International Exhibitors Expand the Sourcing Offer

The 10th edition also strengthens the fair’s international dimension with four textile companies from Italy and Japan joining the event: CAFISSI S.P.A., STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA CO., LTD., UNI TEXTILE CO., LTD. and LANIFICIO BRUNETTO MORGANTI & C. S.P.A.

CAFISSI and Lanificio Brunetto Morganti add to the fair’s wool fabric offering, UNI TEXTILE focuses on synthetic fabrics, while STYLEM TAKISADA-OSAKA contributes an extensive fabric portfolio and international network.

Blue Black Puts Denim Expertise in Focus

Blue Black, Texhibition Istanbul’s dedicated denim platform, showcases selected manufacturers, new fabric developments, contemporary washes, surface treatments and more responsible production approaches.

The platform gives brands, designers, buyers and product development teams access to Türkiye’s denim capabilities, covering fibre choices, constructions, dyeing methods, finishing techniques, performance and visual identity. A dedicated Denim B2B Area facilitates direct meetings between manufacturers and international buyers.

Innovation Hub Explores the Future of Textiles

Located in the foyer, the Texhibition Innovation Hub explores textiles at the intersection of technology, design, materials and spatial experience.

The Hub makes the transformation from idea to material, design and experience visible through an immersive presentation combining textile layers, architectural elements, lighting and material surfaces. Visitors can interact with materials while exploring their journey from research and technology to material development and finished design.

The Innovation Hub highlights next-generation materials and technologies including hemp, bio-microencapsulation and thermal regulation, supported by technical data sheets, fabric specifications and Hub Talks.

SmartTex Hub Brings Technical Textiles to the Fair

Making its debut at the 10th edition, the SmartTex HUB introduces visitors to the growing field of technical textiles, presenting solutions ranging from functional textiles to advanced technology applications with an emphasis on sustainability, innovation and high performance.

AI and Technology Enter the Textile Conversation

Digital transformation is another major focus of the September edition. Companies including A.I.T. and Docode highlight the growing relevance of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies across the textile value chain.

The technology focus complements the Innovation Hub, demonstrating how materials expertise, technological capabilities, design intelligence and new production processes are increasingly interconnected within the industry.

Looking Ahead to Autumn/Winter 2027–2028

Texhibition’s Trend Areas look beyond the current season through the concept “Traces of Time: Carrying the Past into the Future”, exploring time as a continuous transformation across four thematic worlds: Earth, Water, Light and Sky.

Earth focuses on natural pigments, mineral structures and raw textures; Water explores fluidity, transparency and reflection; Light interprets time through shimmer, shadows and subtle transitions; and Sky explores infinity through light, voluminous and atmospheric surfaces.

Woven, knitted and textile accessory samples translate these themes into Autumn/Winter 2027–2028 colour palettes, material characteristics, tactile innovations and surface trends. WGSN and Fashion Snoops contribute international trend expertise, while Riccardo Rami Studio presents a dedicated seminar.

Connecting Production with Global Markets

With more than 500 exhibitors, an increasingly targeted international visitor profile, new international participation and a programme spanning sourcing, trends, technology and innovation, Texhibition Istanbul positions itself as a platform connecting the key forces reshaping the textile industry.

As brands and buyers reassess sourcing strategies, material choices and production partnerships, the fair provides a concentrated view of Türkiye’s textile capabilities while creating opportunities for international expertise and emerging technologies to enter the conversation.
