Wellbi Expands Corporate Apparel Portfolio with Zerodha
Fabric-first apparel brand Wellbi has added Zerodha to its expanding corporate client portfolio, supplying 1,150 T-shirts for the company’s entire team. The order further strengthens Wellbi’s presence in India’s corporate apparel segment.
Karthik Rangappa, Chief of Education at Zerodha and an existing Wellbi customer, recommended the brand for the company-wide order. He said:
“A good T-shirt has three basic requirements: it should hold its colour, retain its shape after washing, and fit well. Wellbi T-shirts are highly breathable and feel great.”
Zerodha joins Wellbi’s growing list of corporate apparel clients spanning technology, financial services, hospitality and other sectors. The portfolio includes names such as Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Amazon and JW Marriott, among others.
For Wellbi, the partnership reflects its approach to corporate apparel, where company T-shirts are designed to function as everyday clothing rather than simply branded merchandise. The Mysuru-based brand has developed three proprietary bamboo-cotton blends, each designed for different applications and focused on softness, breathability, moisture management and all-day comfort.
From Textile Exploration to a Fabric-First Brand
Wellbi’s journey began in Mysuru in 2021, when Founder and CEO Supreeth Kashyap developed an interest in rural development and began working with handlooms and rural artisans.
As the team gained a deeper understanding of textiles and consumer needs, its focus evolved from building another apparel label to improving the fabric itself and enhancing everyday comfort.
Supreeth Kashyap, Founder and CEO, Wellbi, said:
“For us, trust has always started with the product. A company can give an employee a T-shirt once, but we don’t want that T-shirt to remain in the wardrobe after the event is over. If the employee voluntarily reaches for it again, to work, while travelling, at home or over the weekend, that is when we believe we’ve made a good product.”
The brand has since expanded its product range beyond T-shirts to include polos, performance wear, innerwear and women’s wear. Wellbi also operates a direct-to-consumer business through its website and marketplaces including Amazon and Myntra. Across its channels, the company has crossed ₹1 crore in monthly revenue.
The Zerodha order reinforces Wellbi’s core proposition: creating apparel that becomes part of an employee’s regular wardrobe rather than being worn only for corporate events. For the fabric-first brand, everyday usability and comfort remain key measures of product success.

“This is definitely the most comfortable polo tee I have ever worn. The fabric, GSM and composition optimisation is genius. Wellbi has surpassed my expectations with this launch. Well done, Supreeth Kashyap and team!”
