Heimtextil 2027 is set to reinforce its role as the leading international platform for the carpet industry by introducing a stronger structure for its Carpets & Rugs segment. The updated format is designed to improve business opportunities, streamline sourcing, and strengthen links between manufacturers, retailers, contract buyers and industry professionals. A new premium exhibition area, Carpets & Rugs Excellence, will also debut, showcasing selected high-quality volume manufacturers.

The redesigned layout aligns carpet exhibitors with Heimtextil’s broader product worlds, enabling buyers to source complete interior solutions while creating greater visibility and networking opportunities for exhibitors. The event aims to better reflect the evolving needs of the global carpet market by integrating suppliers across specialist retail, hospitality, contract business and large-scale international trade.

Bettina Bär, Director of Heimtextil, said the exhibition continues to evolve in collaboration with industry stakeholders to create a more focused business platform for manufacturers, brands and buyers worldwide. She added that the strong participation from leading companies highlights Heimtextil’s continued importance as a global meeting point for the carpet industry.

Machine-made carpet manufacturers, along with fibre, yarn and technology suppliers, will be showcased in Hall 3.1 alongside Decorative & Furniture Fabrics, offering direct access to specialist retailers and the contract market. Hall 3.0 will feature hand-knotted carpets, premium doormats and flooring solutions within the Interior Design Concepts section, while Halls 11.0, 12.0 and 12.1 will serve as key destinations for volume manufacturers and international buyers.

Several prominent companies have already confirmed their participation, including Agnee Innovates, Balta Industries, Bhadohi Carpets, Choudhary Exports, Fibre World, Hafizia Arts & Crafts, Heritage Overseas, Jaipur Rugs, Looms & Knots, Merinos, Oriental Weavers with EFCO and MAC, Qayyum Exports, Ragolle Rugs, Rudra Rugs, Rugs INC., Unlimited Style Rugs, Teppich de Orienta and Verbatex.

A major addition for 2027 is Carpets & Rugs Excellence, a curated premium section in Hall 11.0 dedicated to selected international carpet manufacturers recognised for superior craftsmanship, product quality and manufacturing expertise. Companies featured in this area will be selected by an independent panel of experts, creating a dedicated sourcing destination for buyers from retail, hospitality and contract sectors seeking premium carpet solutions at scale.

By introducing this new structure and premium showcase, Heimtextil 2027 aims to strengthen international business connections, simplify sourcing, and reinforce its position as the global hub for the carpet and rugs industry.
