Raymond Appoints Shalini Singh as Head of Corporate Communications

Raymond has announced the appointment of Shalini Singh as its Head of Corporate Communications, reinforcing the group’s leadership team as it advances its transformation into a diversified business with independently listed entities spanning lifestyle, real estate and engineering.

In her new position, Singh will lead Raymond’s corporate reputation strategy, overseeing external and internal communications, strategic communication initiatives, social media strategy, crisis communications and financial communications across the organisation.

Bringing close to three decades of industry experience, Singh has built an extensive career in corporate communications, brand strategy, reputation management and integrated communications. Her expertise includes working with several large listed companies and diversified business groups across multiple sectors.

Before joining Raymond, she worked as an Independent Strategic Communications, Reputation and Sustainability Advisor for two years. Earlier, she served as Group Head of Brand and Communications at RPG Group, where she led communication strategies for several listed companies within the group.

Her previous leadership roles also include serving as Head of Corporate Communications and Sustainability at Holcim India, overseeing communications for ACC and Ambuja Cements. She also spent more than 16 years at Tata Power and Tata Power Renewables, where she held the position of Chief – Corporate Communications, CSR and Sustainability. During her career, she has additionally worked with organisations including Accenture, Bharti Airtel and The Arvind Mills.

Singh holds a Master’s degree in Communications and Extension from M.S. University, Baroda, where she graduated as a Gold Medallist. She has also completed executive education programmes at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad, and is a Certified Independent Director registered with the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA).

Her appointment comes at a significant stage in Raymond’s growth journey as the company continues to strengthen its corporate identity, stakeholder engagement and strategic communications while expanding across multiple business verticals.
